Hello Tenerife

A couple of weeks ago, I escaped England for a few days and went to Tenerife. I already had a few days off booked. I was tempted to stay in England but I saw that the weather was going to change so I decided to getaway for a few days. I noticed there was a good deal on flights, hotel, transfers and half board so I decided to book it.

After I had booked the flights I felt quite anxious, but after some chats with a friend and my sister I felt a lot better about going away on holiday by myself. I was ready to go, it was only for a couple of days. I made it to the airport and onto the flight and I was lucky to sit next to a lovely couple.

I arrived at the hotel in the evening as it was quite far from the hotel. I unpacked and chilled out in my hotel, enjoying the peace and quiet. The next day, I sunbathed on my balcony on a sun lounger. I then wandered into the nearest town to get some lunch and to explore the area. Such a beautiful place. I was surrounded by mountains and it was stunning. In the evening, I had some dinner and then I went to the bar and had a couple of cocktails and watched people dancing to the live music.

The next day, I decided to sun bathe by the pool, I also explored the hotel grounds some more. I went to town to get some lunch and some more exploring. I also bought some gifts for people at home. I spent the evening after dinner chilling out in my room and on my balcony taking in the beautiful scenery for one last evening.

Tenerife was the perfect place to go with sunshine and a peaceful scenery. There were more activities I could have done if I was there longer but the short break is just what I needed to get away and get some sunshine. I hadn't been away on holiday like that for over a year so it was just what I needed.

I would totally recommend Tenerife if you need some last minute sunshine.
