Today I completed my second ever park run. I managed to shave off a couple of seconds but that was it. I wasn't expecting to do much better as I had been to the pub the night before with people from work and had had a few drinks. I also got a pizza takeaway. I ate far too much and was completely stuffed. I am glad I managed to get up and complete the course.

This run was my third run of the week. This was the second week in a row that I have completed three runs in one week. I have only ever managed two runs a week maximum in the past so I am pleased that I have done this. I want to see how long I can continue this for.

Running three times a week and the park runs aren't a new years resolution just something that I have always wanted to do. Hopefully I can continue it.

I am trying to drink less so by having plans to do park runs on a Saturday morning, I am less likely to spend all evening in a pub with friends on a Friday night.

I am amazed at how I have started planning my runs into my week. I am doing the Couch to 5K app and you need to have a days rest in between each run. I plan my week and plan when I can run so that I can have at least a days rest in between and have a bit of a social life! It has only been two weeks of doing this but I am already thinking about what days I can go for a run next week. What has happened to me?!
