Overthinking

I know I have mentioned overthinking in a previous post but it is something that I deal with. I know that lockdowns and working from home all the time doesn't help my overthinking. I have found that exercise and running and being outside in nature really does help but I can't do that all the time especially under lockdown.


I know I imagine scenarios in my head to be a lot worse than they probably actually are and I try to switch off the noise. I find my overthinking gets worse when I am tired as well so I need to make a conscious effort to remain busy and keep my mind busy in order to stop it so much. It takes time though and I will get there. I am also doing daily mediations and would like to do more mindfulness which I think both will help with my overthinking. I am making a conscious effort this year to try and improve my overthinking. It is a lot worse in winter due to the darkness. I think I need to emigrate to somewhere hot in winter from now on.... when we can obviously. Fingers crossed things will go back to some sort of normality soon!
